It is Wednesday again! I always get very excited about Talk Show Day on SecretBuilders. With Cleopatra as Joebar's special guest, it couldn't get any better. She is one of the most popular historic figures and the last pharaoh of Egypt.
The Builders in the audience were very prepared - they asked smart questions and participated actively in the conversation. Cleopatra was delighted to find out that the audience knew so much about her. And they wanted to know even more - they asked her about her children with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony, about her siblings, and about the way she poisoned herself, among other things.
In case you weren't there - here is what she shared with us. Cleopatra and her family were Macedonians who went to Egypt with Alexander the Great. She knew nine languages and was very outspoken. She had one son with Caesar, named Caesarion, twins with Mark Antony, named Alexander Helios and Cleopatra Selene, and also another son, Ptolemy Philadelphos. She liked taking milk baths to stay young and beautiful. After Mark Antony committed suicide, so did Cleopatra. The story is that she took an asp to her breast and let the poisonous snake bite her. Yeah, she had a lot of drama in her life!
